I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Hershey Company in Aug 2016
Interview
This was for a phone interview. You were asked to schedule a time online through an email. The person that called me was a third party that was conducting interviews for Hershey's. She was not very polite and was overall not an enjoyable person to talk to. The call lasted about 15 minutes (they originally said it would be 35). She was recording your answers using some type of software, so I had to speak slowly or repeat myself multiple times. At the end she said she would forward my responses to Hershey's which I thought was a little out of the ordinary. When I asked questions at the end she said that she would forward my questions on to someone else (she didn't have the answers). Overall this was one of the worst phone interviews I have done.

Question 1
How would you persuade a customer to do something that they wouldn't normally do
I applied online. I interviewed at The Hershey Company (Houston, TX)
Interview
The first step was an in person interview
with HR and the hiring manager. You also did a ride along with one of their Sales Reps to see if the position would actually be a good fit for you and if you would be a good fit for the company. The rep evaluates you and advises management if you should move forward in the interview process, etc. Not certain if the process has changed.
I had multiple virtual interviews with friendly employees. After those, I had a field interview where I shadowed an employee in the role I had applied for. That is when I realized the job wasn't for me, though the employee I shadowed seemed to really enjoy his job. The interview process wasn't overly drawn out, it was straight forward, and I have no complaints.
