Applied online. Received email about 1 week later to schedule a phone screening. The initial screening was with an outsourced company and was to basically confirm what's on your resume and answer very generic questions. I was told if I was progressing to the next step sometime at Hershey HR would reach out. About two weeks later I recieved an email to schedule a Webex phone interview. That interview was with the hiring manager. Was asked to walk through my resume then answered 3 basic questions followed by a time for my questions. Believed the interview went well as I was told the next step was an in person interview and someone would be reaching out. About 10 days later, I received the most generic, cover-all type rejection letter. Odd as I was expecting the email to be to schedule an on site after being led to believe that was going to happen. Oh well. I'd suggest putting more emphasis and holding more in person interviews. The same amount of time can be spent on an in person vs phone, plus you'll get a much better feel for the candidate.
