I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2018
Interview
1st round was a phone screening with a recruiter (resume and why Home Depot questions). Then, they had a second round in their HQ. It consisted of 2 30-40 min interviews, one of which had basic case questions. Besides that, they had mostly behavioral. Whole process took about 3 weeks.
hey’re not interested in opinions—they want:
Proof of skills (leadership, teamwork, problem-solving)
How you behave under pressure
Whether you take ownership or just observe
You should have 4–5 solid stories prepared that you can adapt to different questions.
Me preguntaron sobre que he hecho en mi carrera, que me gusta y que se del puesto.
La entrevista tardó aproximadamente 40 minutos, fue rápida y no hubo una entrevista en inglés, por lo menos aquí en Monterrey.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Que me gusta hacer, que herramientas utilizo y que experiencia tengo con ellas.
Easy because I was able to navigate what questions would be asked of me before I was able to come back to it. It was a very interesting process. I greatly enjoyed going through it and would do it again.
