Interview
I submitted my app online and was called for a phone interview 3 months later. I was interviewed by 1 assistant store manager and then called 2 weeks later for a second interview. The qualifications that The Home Depot is looking at is your ability to handle interaction with the public as they shop in the store and cash out. There were a number of questions requiring you to tell how you would handle different and perhaps difficult situations involving the customer. How would you handle a complaint and what actions would you take to satisfy the customer. Customer service is the 1st priority at The Home Depot

The interview process was a friendly and professional experience overall. The managers are nice and accommodating to students at least at this location as I was a current student at Oregon state university and needed to work around a college schedule.
