I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2010
Interview
Very fair, standardized questions, as with most major companies the process is longer than expected. If you think you will hear something in two weeks, make it four. HR is very nice and did a great job setting up interview and providing details.

Again, very standard questions, nothing unexpected
Is a positive experience to join the conversation the people were very nice little worried about the recent layoff why I did not pursue the opportunity forever. I also wonder wait for a better role that suits my background better.
Fairly straightforward with a recruiter first doing a phone screen then the hiring manager then the hiring manager’s boss. The last two interviews were done in person. Wrapped up in two months.
