I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Burnaby, BC) in Jan 2023
Interview
They really made their recruitment progress very easy and hassle-free. Simply apply with some information on their website and wait for the screening. Once you got the invitation of an interview, they will provide time slots for you to choose. The whole interview was a great experience, the interviewer is nice and not trying to give you hard time or ask you any tough questions. The questions are all really basic, just to see if you're honest and if you're okay to follow company policies.(Those are very reasonable too.) Generally, I am quite happy with the experience.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Coquitlam, BC)
Interview
Very easy - basically questions are mostly on availability. They want to have enough people, especially on weekends. Important to show experience in customer service. Also cashier experience is a plus.
They call you and do a phone interview and then they get in the interview and ask you basic question about the position at hand. Like able to lift, read, explain, solve their issue on any DIY projects they're doing
Interview process was okay. From the beginning I was made feel comfortable and felt respected throughout the entire process from the beginning to the end. Got a good idea of what it would be like to work here
