I applied online. The process took 6+ months. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2014
Interview
Structured interview guide. Multiple parts to each question. Interviewer was rushed. Very difficult to follow the entire question because the interviewer just blurts it all out and looks at you. It was a strange interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you handle conflict in this situation? How would you handle a buyer disagreeing with your inventory recommendation?

Interview
First question will always be answered with one word, that word is "Safety". Home Depot values their associates just as well as they value themselves. The interviewing process is pretty straight forward. They ask 3 basic questions and then you are asked to tell them about yourself. That is the point where you be just that, yourself. Don't put on a show and act like a square. They prefer to hire people with great personalities. Good luck!
