A recruiter reached out in April. Had initial call earlier May and an interview with another designer late May.
Submitted two samples in June and was told I'd hear back about next steps because they were staggering imterviews and wanted to hire another role first. Kept checking and there were no interviews or new information for until mid-Sept when I was asked if I'd be interested in interviewing for another city while we wait for the city I live in to be scheduled.
Did a 4 person group interview with 3 city officials and one person from JHU. Went well. Two weeks later I was told I'd get an offer.
The offer was below what JHU has as the targeted salary and they refused to meet it. The start date was more than a month out and they wanted me to relocate without having been paid, within 2 weeks of starting, during a major holiday. There wouldn't be any relocation assistance until AFTER I was relocated. They were also expected a 2 day turn around for a response, without having even sending the offical offer, after they made me wait almost 6 months.
Turned down the offer and found out they already scheduled interviews for my preferred city that I had been waiting for, which would not require relocation, and just didn't tell me in what seems to be an effort to force me to take the offer I decline.
I would not recommend.
