I went through two sets of interviews, and the team seemed pretty cool for the most part. However, when I received the offer, I was disappointed to find that they offered absolutely no benefits. They proposed an hourly wage of $28 and stated that I would work no more than 30 hours a week. Additionally, I would need to commute between Baltimore and DC as needed, which meant I would actually be losing money just commuting back and forth. I received much better offers from less accredited institutions, which made it clear that they didn't value the expertise of the profession.
