      ETL Data Modeler/Developer Interview Interview

      Apr 16, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Jonah Group (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2018

      Interview

I got this opportunity from a recruiter. Initially recruiter mentioned that this was a lead Developer position, but turned out to be a sr. developer position. First I got a phone interview with HR and she went through my resume and experience. Second interview was in person with the director, Sr. Developer and an technical architect. The interview lasted for 1 h 15 mins. Started with general experience with my current role, then director went and sr. developer scrutinized over databases, etl concepts , scenario based questions. Although many were obvious questions, but they expect the answers on the same. technical interview was average, but all 3 being quite experienced (15 to 20 yrs) sort of show ego of their technical knowledge. My humble suggestion is not everyone gets an opportunity to work on end to end on a project and gain knowledge, doesn't mean he or she can't get the work done.
