Answered ad for teaching GMAT; two months later, they contact me to teach MCAT Three stages: Diagnostic test Phone interview MS Teams demo lesson for two interviewers I timed out the lesson to 11 mins (supposed to be 10 but they give 15 mins just in case). I aimed it at a level my 10th-graders would understand, but the interviewers just weren't there: the time I built in for their replies was way too short. One interviewer had technical troubles and so was way behind in the discussion when she rejoined us three minutes later. They had a bit of trouble because of their tech choice: they had cancelled the demo lesson three minutes prior to its start earlier in the weak, presumably for tech issues, they admitted another candidate had to cut out and log back in to share their screen. Unlike Zoom, the text feature vanishes in Teams when you're sharing your screen; therefore, my building so much student participation into the lesson worked against me. I had scheduled in quick typed answers, not having to pull teeth to get verbal answers. Anyway, now you're forewarned and won't make any of my mistakes. Just play it safe and teach how to survive a zombie apocalypse.
