The recruiter was amazing. Let me start by saying my résumé isn't even finished. I only started applying a couple weeks ago and already had a slew of interviews. This is my first time job hunting in a grip.
It's kinda nice to be so wanted by a scientific crap ton of companies, but this also means all of last week I was interviewing. The RealReal was my second interview -- I interviewed with Beth. My first interview is with a company I'm not going to mention and the recruiter just read off a sheet of paper the whole time; this interview was such a breathe of fresh air compared to that (trust me, it was crushing, 'cos I'm in love with that not-to-be-named company).
Beth was conversational and engaged in the conversation. She listened to me and had her own sentiments to add to what I said and it was nice. I felt like I was talking to a colleague I'd known for years. We talked about me, her, and the job. You won't feel like a cog in the machine when you speak to her. The fact that I had such a positive experience with her has honestly cushioned the blow of rejection I received from them.
