I spoke with the new VPE, who was fixing the initial release of the website, which was not functioning. He was extremely technical and sharp, and I was excited about meeting him as well as the rest of the team. However, it soon turned out that he was an interim manager, and there was a new CTO and VPE coming on board. The interview was only slightly technical, and my perception of the team was that they need some pretty serious help. The office was okay, though it's in a dangerous neighborhood just north of Hunter's Point.
