An employee of the company knew that I am a watch scholar and so I was invited to address the RealReal's need for luxury wristwatch authentication, employee training, and copywriting. Once I provided enough evidence that I possessed the required knowledge and skills, it all came down to numbers. I was presented with a fair offer, accepted, and then went to work the next week. It's still to date one of my most favorite jobs. I love watches more than anything and may perhaps look toward boutiques in the future.
