I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Trade Desk (New York, NY)
Interview
I had four interviews. The first was a phone interview with the recruiter. Then a few days later they scheduled an in person interview with a senior account manager and an account manager. A few days later I was called back to interview with a senior account manager and a senior account executive. The following week I was asked to create presentation to the Global Manager of client services and two senior account managers. After the presentation I had an interview with the Global Manager and then an interview with a Senior Trader (the senior trader was not on the schedule) For the last interview I had to book a half day off from work. Everyone I met was very nice and very enthusiastic about the company. Each time I met with someone I felt like it would be a great place to work. Unfortunately they did not contact me again after my last interview. I waited for over a week to hear back and when I followed up with the recruiter, I received an email back saying that they had changed direction. I found this quite rude and unprofessional. I felt that at such a late stage in the interview process an email would have been the courteous thing to do to let me know I was no longer in the running.

phone screen, manager interview, then two more 45 min interviews with colleagues and a in person presentation. it was a lot of behavioral questions and some hypotheticals, especially in person so be ready to answer hard questions on the spot. everyone was very friendly and personable.
Thorough and professional experience. Starts with a standard phone screening with HR to get to know you on the surface. Continues to escalate from there to more in-depth interviews. Very standard, no negative experiences.
