I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at The UPS Store (Detroit, MI) in Jan 2020
Interview
They barely asked me any questions. They only asked about my retail experience and how well i can learn a pos system. Was hired in very quickly after. Just had to train for a week
They ask a lot about situations with customers, and what you would do. Reply with empathy and understanding when it comes to an angry customer as that’s what’s important in customer service. They also asked how you handle a rush, answer that you don’t get overwhelmed and it’s important to you to keep a level head.
The process was fairly straightforward. I had an initial interview over the phone followed by a second interview in person. They asked me about my qualifications and gave me an overview of the position.
