Easy, asks relevant questions. Casual, you should know the job and be ready to show up early and take it seriously. You’ll be the best at the job if you just do that.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Vancouver, BC) in Feb 2015
Interview
Easy. Had to go to the YMCA headquarters. Checked in. Was brought into a room for a one-on-one interview that lasted around 30 minutes. Was asked questions about scenarios, experience, etc; was asked how we think a supervisor should support us, etc. Afterwards was handed a packet to read through. The interviewer contacted the references. Very simple.
