I applied online for the position and heard back about getting an interview in about a week. There were two interviewers and both were very friendly and fairly casual. There were quite a few questions but none of them were difficult or surprising. Many questions were regarding my previous aquatics experiences, scenario questions, and questions about the Y's values and why they're important to you. They also asked a few questions about reporting child abuse, so you should try to find out the policies in place where you live.
About two weeks after the initial interview I was asked to come in for a wet screening where we did our NL skills in the pool with one first aid scenario. This was in a group of 4 other candidates.
