I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Camden, NJ) in Jul 2018
Interview
The process took too long (6+ weeks) only to be told via email that they were “looking for someone with more experience”. That is an unacceptable excuse after one phone and two rounds of on-site interviews (including one panel). Either tell the candidate upfront that they are unqualified or provide an ACTUAL reason that they did not receive an offer. The interviewers’ styles were “chummy” which I believe strung me along during the process.
