I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Charlottesville, VA)
Interview
This is for the Charlottesville location. It was a hot mess. Interviewer was seven minutes late for an interview she scheduled with me less than twelve hours earlier AND DID NOT APOLOGIZE FOR HER LATENESS. There were basic interview questions from the textbook and no behavioral ones. She gave me a through timeline of the follow up process for the interview. She said she would get back to me the following Tuesday and advise if I would be able to love forward but she didn’t do that. She sent me a quick email a week later stating that someone accepted the offer. I replied and told her I figured since there was radio silence on their end. I don’t follow up with companies because if they were interested in following up then they would make it a priority to reach out to me for the next steps.
It was really interview practice for me since I’m casually looking. It was just a waste of my time and a hot mess because she wanted applicants to go through multiple interviews in less than a week. I think I dodged a bullet not getting the job. Lateness to interviews is a trend with employers in Charlottesville and it needs to stop.
I applied for the position through Indeed. There was an 30 minute Phone interview followed by a 1 hour In-Person interview the next week. Overall the process was smooth and professional.

Question 1
What is a employee relations problem you dealt with in a previous role?
Got a phone screen after a month. But even though qualified did not move to interview. The person screening was not sure of the position and could not answer detailed questions about the position. They only prefer onsite and they wanted me this position to go between two locations.
