Difficult to remember has been 17yrs ago, but recently interviews have been in a group style setting which is always nerve wracking. Very specific questions relating to past jobs and why I was terminated. Felt on display and could tell right away they weren't going to high me. No hiring process as no hiring in my workplace choices.
