Interview
Phone screen, hiring manager interview, followed by onsite interview. The entire process took well over three months. While waiting for a decision, the hiring manager and recruiter were basically MIA, and not reachable. The interview process also was put on pause. Incredibly long time to reach a decision, no feedback or explanation as they never got back to me.

Question 1
How would you interact with people below you, if they are doing something wrong, or not as specified in the protocol?
Applied online and was contacted 5 weeks later for a virtual recruiter screen. Standard HR questions and I felt that the recruiter was smug and a bit condescending. Second round was the hiring manager interview that took place onsite 7 business days after. The interview felt conversational and positive, although the hiring manager's expectations of the role did not match the job requirements on the ad. Felt that I had a high chance of moving to the third round but I was rejected two weeks after.

Interview
Met with recruiter for Scientist III position based in Middleton, WI. Standard interview, walking the recruiter through experiences in CV. Recruiter asked what desired salary was (over 100K, PhD level applicant w/ experience), they stated only paying 80-85K. Extremely low considering size of Thermofisher and in comparison to other Wisconsin pharma/bio-tech companies.
