I was asked for a first and second interview. All in all I devoted almost an entire day's with of time being interviewed, tested, and traveling. After all of that, the department decided that though they thought I could do the join; they needed someone with real life experience. They knew based on my resume that I had prior experience in schooling, but no on the job experience. Interestingly, a week prior, they hired another woman with no experience for the same position, but she knew someone in the department. Once it came to providing updates about the status of my interview, it was very difficult to get ahold of anyone. I chose neutral for my rating because the first part of the process was great, while the follow through was not professional. It left me feeling as though my time was wasted unnecessarily because the department changed what they were looking for halfway through the process, and not because I wasn't the best candidate.
