      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Washington, DC) in Sep 2021

      Interview

Filed my application in June and was contacted for an interview at the end of September. The process involved a writing task, a one hour interview and a final writing task. After two months, I emailed HR asking for updates and didn't get a response. Today, after three months, i discovered that the role had gone to someone else - through Twitter. They didn't have the basic decency to notify the shortlisted candidates after an unnecessarily long process, given the interviews and tests were all conducted within three weeks. Speaks volumes about Reuters' culture.

      Interview

Thirty minute conversation over a Gmeet. They asked me about my past foray in finance/business journalism and gave a couple of written exercises wherein I was given a prompt I had to convert to a lede story within minutes.

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Bengaluru) in May 2024

      Interview

It was a rather lengthy one , while studying would have helped ,they were more keen on judging my ideas , approach and ethics towards the job. Basic questions like what is revenue, profit was asked. Felt like a grilling session though.
