I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Thoughtworks (Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul) in Nov 2014
Interview
The process took more than 3 months.
- Initial contact via email and after that a brief interview about the company and my experiences
- Code challenge (one out of three problems to choose)
- Technical interview
- Third pillar interview (social justice)
- On-site interview with logic assessment, pair programming, and so on
- Final e-mail with the results of all the process
I missed a more detailed feedback about the process, mainly because I didn't pass and they told me that "my experiences and skills didn't match with thoughtworks", but why? What should I do to improve them? I think that a detailed feedback could help me improve the skills that didn't match, so that I could apply again. But the overall experience is great and the thoughtworkers were very kind to me.
The interview consists of two rounds and takes about a month. It mainly asks about the understanding of the business and the ability to cooperate with others, and also includes some assessment of personal technical abilities
I was referred into Thoughtworks Bengaluru. After a basic HR screen, a PM grilled me on BA-style scenarios. After that, I prepped a two-day case study to roleplay a consultant.
