I was very excited when the Talent Acquisition Partner reached out to me regarding an open role at Thrive Market. I have been following the company for quite some time now and was very eager to explore the opportunity. However, that excitement died pretty quickly when the Talent Acquisition Partner was very unprofessional and incredibly rude. Although she had been the one pursuing me, she decided to ghost me at some point. I called, left messages, and sent emails - both had gone unanswered. I finally reached her by phone and she curtly said she would send me a new interview meeting invite so can we can finally chat but she never did. I truly believe that the HR & Talent Acquisition teams serve as the face of a brand / company - a poor experience with them tells me a lot about the company. I will not be engaging with this brand anymore - especially after a handful of others in my network have also experienced the same with this same exact TA person.
