I interviewed with a recruiter and the hiring manager. The hiring manager stated that I would be notified of whether or not the team wanted to move forward with my candidacy within 2 weeks. I was then called by a recruiter a month later and told that they were behind schedule and to reach out with questions. I followed up and was ignored. I took that as the team choosing not to move forward with my candidacy. A month after following up I received a rejection email. The entire process was frustrating and felt like a waste of time, especially for a company that outright stated that they dislike ghosting potential employees.
