About two months after applying, I received an email from the recruiting agency that's helping Tides fill positions. We had an initial 20-minute call that included an overview of the position and department plus a few questions about my interest in the role and relevant experience. The interviewer was laid back and friendly, creating a positive atmosphere.
The next interview was a one-hour call with the hiring manager, via video chat. Again, a friendly interview that focused more on personality than specifics. Though I wasn't offered the position, I found the experience relatively painless (as much as these things can be) and appreciated the quick feedback. Tides seems like a wonderful place to work.
