They have no clarity on what they are doing. HR will tell you they don't hire for a position but hire for a role. What it essentially means is they will still interview you and make your waste your time and effort, but once you clear , there might not be even a open position to fill you in. They will get you work on the different case studies. You will end up investing considerable amount of time and effort. Post that they will make your do on the spot cases for few rounds. Overall you will spend almost 18-24 hours in preparing for cases and interviews. At the end of it all once you clear, they will say they don't have open position yet and make you look like a fool.
