I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Tiger Analytics (New York, NY) in Jun 2019
Interview
I had a chance to get an interview with their team. They were looking for someone to work on their client side to develop their data warehouse with the Hive and other big data tools and cloud platforms. We had a good conversation during the interview. I could respond to their questions. Unfortunately, they did not ask about my relevant skills related to the job description. I think they were just interviewed with me to fill the position with someone else. This is so rude behavior from their side. I did respond all the questions correctly and after that simply I got rejection. I will take screenshots from their email and share on LinkedIn to show that they are not trustable and reliable.
I have received an email from HR about my application status today. She mentioned you do not have industrial skills and also after responding correctly the interviewer questions and demonstrating my completed projects without asking about data warehouse during the interview (Hive, Performance Tunning of queries, partitioning, bucketing, sampling, TDFs). This is not fair for someone who has enough skills for accepting TigerAnalytics tasks. I did not have any problem with early bird interviews or too late conversation with the interviewers from india. On the other hand, I am a creative person with many ideas who can add extra value to their company. I had chance to have offer with other companies such as Amazon and other companies. Please be careful when you are looking for job with this company.
(Totally wasting life time without any respect and professionally experiences with them)
Unfair assessment and untrustable
