Extremely Fishy Interviewers . If you respect your time, don't ever apply to Tiger Analytics.
Keep interviews at odd hours as someone from India takes these interviews.
2 video interviews were scheduled for me, while I am asked to put my camera on none of the interviewers showed their face.
Interview 1, 8am in morning - Keeps me on hold for 15 mins saying he has to send an important file to his boss. After 15 minutes talks for 5 mins more and tells me he needs to call his boss. In the end has a talk for 15 minutes and I get an email to interview for 2nd round with another interviewer.
Interview 2 - 9 pm in night - Doesn't show his face. A third person is on and off joining the call that seems so fishy! Seems extremely unbothered. Doesn't understand simple SQL shorthands.
In the end when I ask job responsibilities, he tells me he is not aware for which role is the interview about. LOL. On telling him it is for Data Scientist he tells me to check with HR the job responsibilities.
Next day I get an email saying my skills are not aligned to their role. I want to ask how can the interviewer judge me if he doesn't even know for which role I am interviewing for :)

Focused on core Python skills and machine learning fundamentals.
• Basic Python questions (data handling, string manipulation, loops, dictionaries, etc.)
• Assessed overall coding comfort and problem-solving ability

2 rounds interview, first is easy with standard question like prompt engineering, transformers, RAG systems , cloud like AWS, and little about your projects second is difficult deep in your project ,
Coding assessment which consist of 2 python and 1 SQL question with 6 DS MCQ's.
Next would be Technical round and the HR/Managerial round. I couldn't clear it but, it was good experience.
