I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (Mountain View, CA) in Jul 2020
Interview
The entire process was in a black box, and I never knew who I would be speaking with or what the interview would be about. In my opinion, it's a feature not a bug because they wanted to see who I am and what I really know.
All 3 rounds were behavioral interviews with some questions about industry and product sense. The interviewers were sharp and aggressive, but it's important to stay confident and voice your rationale when they seemed to "attack" your answers/decisions.

How would you reduce false positives in our content moderation system?
They arranged 3 rounds of interviews with all team members, not the hiring manager. I felt like it was not the typical process because one of them said they were changing the direction of this role.
