I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at TikTok (Manila, Manila) in Mar 2022
Interview
3 rounds of interview — 1 HR and 2 hiring managers all of which are not Filipinos
Its your typical HR questions but Im writing a review to tell you that the recruiter ghosted me and one of my worst interview experience that even affected my confidence ://
The position was already offered to me (via whatsapp) stating that I was chosen for the position. I asked for the job offer letter, but days turned to weeks to months have passed the recruiter just downright ghosted me and didnt even bother telling me that they could no longer give the job offer letter, its as if they thought we could both forget about the offer
Mind you I withdrew all of my pending applications only to be ghosted
Cause of inability to continue the offer: they are not familiar with the Philippine labor codes so they were having a hard time with the legalities of hiring an intern with a Philippine entity given that they are all are situated in other countries
advice: hope that someone from HR who is a Filipino and actually has knowledge with local labor codes to handle the initial phase of the recruitment pls if not, hope that the foreign hiring team aligns with the local hr team first before even posting it online and even interviewing candidates
It was such a waste of time to wait for months and the preparation for it only to be ghosted
45 minutes 2 rounds. Could vary depending on teams and positions. The interviewer is nice and warm, is my line manager. We have great communication. The second round is her peers.
easy simple nothing crazy all okay, i was happy with it and i dint have issues in anyway. i think they want someone else though not necessary someone like me which is ok
The interview process was straightforward, The questions asked both pertained to past experiences as well as technical skills related to the role. The interviewer however seemed a bit impatient and wanted to get through the questions quickly
