The recruitment team scheduled an interview in which the interviewer simply did not show up.
Two days later the recruitment team rescheduled, the new interviewer did spent the call pacing through their house and communicating with someone else off screen while I was trying to answer their questions.
Uninterested in this creative strategy team moving forward.
I applied online. I interviewed at TikTok (Bangkok) in Jul 2026
Interview
I received a call from the HR recruiter about a week after I applied. He suggested this role instead of another position that I had originally applied for.
We then scheduled a one-hour call to discuss the role, my experience and skills, as well as a few situational interview questions. At the end of the conversation, he told me that he would like to move forward with my application.
He explained that the next stage would consist of an SQL test and a hiring manager interview, and that I would receive emails regarding both shortly after our conversation.
However, I have not received either email, despite following up a few days later and again a week afterward. At this point, it feels as though I have been ghosted without any explanation.
I find this disappointing and unprofessional, especially after being told that I would be progressing to the next stage of the process.

Question 1
What would you do if you had a difficult client who didn’t agree with your strategic points?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (Sydney) in Sep 2024
Interview
I went through three separate interviews for this role, each lasting about an hour with different team members. While I left each interview feeling positive, I never received an update despite following up twice. If a company asks candidates to invest that much time in the hiring process, the least they can do is provide the courtesy of communication, even if it’s to say they won’t be proceeding. It’s unprofessional and disappointing to be left without any closure after such a significant commitment.
