Surprisingly the interview process was much smoother than most of companies I've interviewed with. Punctual, professional and fast. People in general have negative interview experience with Tiktok but not my case this time. Team difference is real. This world will be the wonderland if HRs all work like this.

Typical screening: Position&team intro, hiring process, exp with sql/Python.
Hiring manager interview: went through my data experience & sql question.
It was a HR call asking about background, it was quite short. HR was nice and friendly but it was more to filter out candidates who did not fit the basic criteria, eg: Visa requirements or Essential Skills
1st round, HR, general questions about personal background such as why you move to another country, why change company, very simple quesitons. It was designed to be 45 min but end up being around 30 min
