This was by far the weirdest, least professional interview process I have gone through in my five+ years of working in the industry. My first phone interview was a standard HR screening call, where I briefly ran through my resume and was given some more detail on the position. From there, a second video call was set-up with the person that would be my manager in the role. That interview was also standard in terms of the questions asked, and I felt a connection with the manager. This seemed to go both ways, as they said they were very impressed and began talking about next steps which would involve me coming in for an in-person in the "near future". After two weeks went by with no follow-ups, I reached out asking where the interview process stood and if I was still being considered. I was assured I was still under consideration, and that despite the delay, I would be brought in for a final interview "soon". That was the last I heard from anyone at the company.
