I started off feeling super excited about the opportunity! I did a lot of research and was impressed by Tillamook and the people who work there. I felt super qualified for the role and when I applied, I heard back the next day. Interviewed with the hiring manager and it was fine…Very straight to the point. I was a little disappointed that the interviewer didn’t really try to get to know me, was just trying to check the boxes, but that was okay. I was still excited to potentially move forward. I was told I’d hear back within the week and then didn’t hear anything. Emailed the hiring manager a week later to ask for an update and never got a reply. I’m disappointed to find that the reviews about ghosting are true. Such a bummer because Tillamook seems like a cool company. This process has me second guessing if I’d want to work there anyway. How you treat candidates matters.
