There was an initial call from the recruiter, the phone screen with a technical person, a technical coding interview with an engineer, and then a 30 mins in-person interview with a dev team, COO, CTO and HR. Pretty thorough process.
I must say, I had one of the most amazing interview experience at this company. Jason, Dana, Kim and Kerry were my fav for different reasons, but Jason is just awesome! He conducted the technical coding interview/challenge and everything was so relevant to the day to day job of a software engineer. He explained why he was asking a certain question and gave me specific problems they have solved or are trying to solve at the company. He is so passionate that It made me want to quit my job and work for Tilster that day!
On the flip side, imagine taking time from work and driving all the way to Alpharetta, and when you get to the office, you’re told your interviewer wasn’t there that day so your interview was rescheduled. Its partly my fault because I didn’t listen to my voice mail, but you would think the recruiter would send an email if an interview is rescheduled. Nada! My in-person interview was rescheduled a couple of times due to miscommunication between the recruiter, interviewers and I, but once it was finally schedule, it was a pleasant experience.
