Interview
Worst experience ever! I had a great first interview with the DM in my area, Michael. We discussed moving up with the company, pay, the whole 9 yards. I'm a full time student, which was disclosed the first interview with a desire to move in about a year in a half, also disclosed during the first interview. With a full time job and full class load I bent over backwards to accommodate 3 long interviews in a 4 day time span. All 3 interviews were great. All 3 managers told me I would be a great fit, the store manager even told me they were not interviewing anyone else. After my interviews I was told they would get back to me early next week. 5 business days, 7 total days later I get a call from the DM telling me they wanted someone more 'long term' and they were going to look at other candidates, but if they didn't find anyone they would give me a call. BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME.
It was a group interview, very low stakes so not a lot of pressure. They had us pull clothes from the floor and sell them to the interviewers or explain why we picked it.
i don’t remember being nervous for the interview and it was a pretty easy process and felt like a conversation. took place at the location and took about 30 minutes at least

Interview with store manager, than district manager, normally the next step would be regional manager but I was exempt from that due to my extensive experience and excellent professional references
