Interview
Super casual. It was supposed to be a group interview but I was the only one that showed up. I interviewed with the assistant manager and he was so chill. He asked me what fashion was to me, why I wanted to work at Tillys, basic things. Then I interviewed with the store manager. Then they make you put together an outfit for a scenario. Mine was a girl who was going to dinner with her boyfriends parents and then going to the club. So you put together an outfit that will work for both. I got hired on the spot after I explained my outfit selections
It was held as a group interview, fairly easy. The hardest part was the sales pitch for an item in the store. Everyone in the group answered the same questions one at a time. There were around 6-8 people in each group.
Super calm and friendly! Felt like such a nice conversation and felt like I was part of the team already, they really listened to me. I felt like they wanted me to succeed and I did!

If an item isn’t selling, how would you ensure it did?
Occurred in a group setting. I always recommend being very respectful, do not speak over others, but when you can add after another interviewees turn, try to include your own response.
