I went into the store and asked for an application and about a couple days to a week after turning it in, they called me back to schedule a group interview. When going into the group interview, I came fifteen minutes early and told one of the employees that I was there, the employee told me to pick out any top, bottom, or accessory from the mens or kids section for the interview. After picking one, the interviewer gathered all the applicants and brought us to the cramped backroom, there were seven other applicants and along with the interviewer and myself, that made nine people in this cramped backroom. There were a few chairs, but the rest of applicants had to sit on the benches people use when trying on shoes. We were all gathered in a circle and basically the interview preceded by the interviewer asking us questions and you had to raise your hand to answer it, you also did not have to answer if you didn't feel like it. Our last question was about the clothing we chose, we had to present it to everyone and talk about why we chose it and what would go with it. The group interview took about an hour long and I could tell that the interviewer was strongly looking for someone who will be able to give great customer service and is really personable, so make sure you have a strong emphasis on customer service. After my first interview I got called back again a few days to a week later asking me to come in for a second interview with the store manager rather than the hiring manager like before. This time it was a one on one interview, which was more aimed on getting to know the applicant personally, it was about half an hour long.
