The person that interviewed me no longer works there but was one of my favorites. Very friendly. Lots of work history talk. Testing out your general vibe and seeing if it aligns with the company’s very “positive” way of managing. Also making sure you get along with higher ups as Tillys is kind of like a family where everyone keeps up with everyone all the way down to the CEO (for upper management). Testing your general knowledge of fashion and brands they carry.

I applied online. I interviewed at Tillys (Orange, CA)
Interview
The interview process was very smooth and enjoyable. The questions were direct but did not feel as though I was in an interrogation. There is a two separate interview process. The first is with the store manager and then the next is with the district manager. This process can take a little longer depending on the district managers schedule. The store I was applying to was very friendly and worked with me through the scheduling troubles the DM had come up unexpectedly.

Terrible, could've gone better just not an overall good experience. Feel like the expectations and responsibilities are so high for what they want but the compensation is bad.
