      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Tilson (Denver, CO) in Mar 2021

      Interview

Applied through LinkedIn, recruiter reached out via text message and we scheduled a call. During the call with the recruiter, we discussed my resume and what experience I had related to this position. I live 1,600mi away, so that was the biggest issue we discussed (didn't seem much of an issue as I will be moving to be in-market at the end of the year). The recruiter forwarded my information to the hiring manager and we scheduled a call for the following week. The hiring manager was very polite and we even had time for some informal chit-chat once the interview had slowed to an end. Again, I brought up my living/relocation situation and it didn't seem to be a problem. It's been almost 4 weeks since the interview and I haven't gotten a response in the affirmative regarding this position; however HR did follow up after two weeks and mentioned they were still in the decision process. Overall, a really great experience. Tilson seems to have taken to the work from home culture very well and I'm sure this is a great company to contribute to. The CEO, Joshua Broder, is very active on LinkedIn -- I'm always impressed to see this. Tilson has this entrepreneur/start-up attitude which speaks volumes to the kind of company this is. Check out their website, and the LinkedIn page, and you'll see there's a ton of progress being made here. No offer yet, but I'll definitely be on the look out for other openings should this application not work out.
