I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tin Roof Software (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2020
Interview
The interview process started with an online quiz.
It was heavily focused on Git which is oddly specific and the other half was simple coding problems with one tougher data structure algorithm problem. The questions were timed and lacked clarity which made them confusing.
The overall process seemed to be more tailored for fresh graduates and also seemed to lack any depth towards software engineering.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The only question that was difficult was a data structure problem
HR representative reached out to me to apply. We had a quick phone call discussing my background and goals, and then we set up an interview with a senior engineer. The interview with the senior engineer was a mix of technical and behavioral. After the interview, I got completely ghosted, despite attempting to follow up with them. I continued to get spammed on LinkedIn encouraging me apply like I already hadn't though.
