very weird experience, and actually seems similar to some other reviews I've read here. started out fine, responsive and communicative recruiter - the last round was a presentation, and i only had 24 hours to prepare despite providing my availability well ahead of that window. but, still proceeded since it was the last bit - seemed to go well and i received good signals throughout the process, then silence for close to a week. i reached out to my recruiter, only for him to then reply to my email (not even a new one) rejecting me/saying they were moving in a different direction with the role - which happens, and is fine! but inexplicably, the recruiter decided to still include feedback on how to better prepare for PM roles at the level I was interviewing for... huh? so, the role was closed/being repurposed, but here's some reasons we wouldn't hire you anyway? not to mention, i was squarely within the role qualifications for that level, there was no question brought up to me about my experience or seniority in the process, and it was a lateral move for me - even a pay cut. very weird and left a bad taste in my mouth. i saw a bit later that a similar but slightly different role was posted - so i'm pretty sure they were interviewing me under that role's basis, not the one that i thought i was interviewing for (talk about moving goalposts) - so i prepared in a completely different way. really shady. wouldn't recommend the effort. also, seems like others have had the same experience re: being rejected at the very end and leveling being cited as the reason out of nowhere.

Fine - just a bit more dragged out than I'd like. Team seemed a bit more focused on the job at hand than passion for the company. Many rounds + presentation.

There was one uninspired convo with a product lead, answering some questions on how to skim margin off restaurant operators. Asking questions in-return revealed a lack of any inspiring vision for the product - had to field the most generic answers copied from some corpo book - learned absolutely nothing (learning per unit of time as low as the stock price).
