Spoke with initial recruiter and was told they would get back to me in a day or two. They completely ghosted me and never followed up. If someone is taking the time out of their day to learn more about your company, have the decency to at least let them know you moved in a different direction. Extremely Disappointed.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tock (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2022
Interview
Excellent experience with ample opportunities to learn more about company culture, history and strategic vision. The interview process moved quickly and was engaging throughout. The HR team provided exceptional support!
I was really excited to interview for Tock. Their tech presence seemed to be making headlines in Chicago. Communication was decent in the beginning of the process, however, there wasn't really a main point of contact. I received communication from at least 3 different people and wasn't sure who was actually managing my candidate experience. The first 2 rounds of interviews were fine. I was then put in touch with someone from the sales team. While we had good conversation, he spent most of the call complaining to me about the organization, how they don't have processes in place, how much time they spend trying to get people to sign up for the platform only to fall short. I was surprised that he was so honest but tried to remain positive. By the end of the conversation, I didn't really want to work for the company any longer. I was told that I would learn about next steps in the coming days but didn't receive anything. This process was a constant struggle and communication was horrible. I reached out to 3-4 people and finally received an email from SOMEONE ELSE that they were pausing hiring for the position and would keep my information on file. I'm sad to say that I probably wouldn't have taken the job even if I had received an offer. It felt like pulling teeth to get any information and so much chaos.
