The process started via contact with a Recruiter via Linkedin.com (December 2011). I had a quick phone interview with this person before progressing to the next stages. This consisted of a Java programming assignment. I was asked to write a quick program to show a 10 by 10 grid of the letter 'i' using java, and to allow it to zoom in and out. Each 'i' also needed to be a different color. After completing this, I had 3 phone interviews, 2 with Current Sales Engineers and 1 with a Support Manager.(Jan 2012) The interviews were not overly hard, very few technical questions. Many questions were about dealing with the sales process and how to interact with clients. Next was a Face to Face interview with the Sales Manager. He was hired a few days before the interview but seemed very competent and interested in my ability. Next was a call with the CEO(Feb2012). He seemed to really care about who we were hiring and wanted to make sure everyone was qualified. Next they asked for a reference and contacted my reference. I received an offer at the end of Feb 2012. So 4 Phone interviews, 1 face to face, one java programming assignment and a reference call.
