Thank you for taking the time to write this review of the interview process. It is our company’s practice to have the CEO meet with candidates only after they have been interviewed and approved by multiple managers. At that point, the CEO’s objective is to get a better understanding of the candidate’s personality in order to gauge whether he or she will be a good fit for the company, and this does not always require repeating the job responsibilities and expectations that were already discussed in earlier interviews. The expectations for a position are stated in a job description that a candidate sees prior to the beginning of the interview process, each of which is reviewed, edited, and approved by the CEO. The CEO also successfully ran the sales organization for more than ten years, built the software licensing practice, and closed hundreds of contracts personally. There is no doubt that he has a clear understanding of the responsibilities and expectations for this role.
