Interview
Recruiting event. It was very fun and social. The first hour or so we danced then split into groups. One group went to the "Idea Factory" and the other went to a station where they played various games and did their one on one interviews.
In Idea Factory we were instructed to plan an event basically an unlimited budget. We then presented our ideas and a winner was picked. You didn't get anything for winning. Just bragging rights. After we were done with the planning portion we were allowed to play TopGolf or any of the other games they offer.
In the interview station we started by playing games like Connect Four jumbo sized, Bear Pong, and TopGolf. We were periodically called for our individual interviews.
The individual interview was broken down into two parts. The first part you have a traditional style interview with two managers. Very simple and laid back. I did not have any tough questions. The second part is the "X Factor" part. We had 90 seconds to impress a panel. There were around 6 of them. You am do anything you want. Some people did flips, breakdancing, and various other talents.
Once everyone is done with individual interviews we are aent home.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked if I was flexible on my position and hours.
They just asked about how previous experiences could help and what do I have to improve on which I said was how I can get too friendly with customers but it ended up being a good thing and they’re looking for that.
I applied online. I interviewed at Topgolf (Louisville, KY) in Nov 2025
Interview
Was a group interview where we played games and were put into a giant group circle to be asked personal questions in front of everyone. Examples of the questions- “What do you want to be remembered for?” “What are your passions?” “Who is your role model and why?”
After - 1.5 hours of that awkward and tedious huddle we were taken to speed date style interviews and finally to role play what our job position was (mine was a server)
The role play part was so awkward and I definitely bombed. I didn’t get the job and wasted 2 hours of my life!
