Toptal SMB Account Executive interview questions

BAD FOLLOW UP. I applied online and had an hour long phone call with a recruiter. It was such a great phone call- I applied for the wrong position and the recruiter still thought I'd be a great fit for a few other roles they had. He recommended a new role they were creating and the job description would be available soon. I waited for a response, and didn't receive any e-mail whatsoever. When I followed up, I got a generic response saying I didn't get the job. I replied asking about which one I didn't get, and NO RESPONSE. I don't know what happened but I do wish there was more transparency in my process.
